DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (“DEN” or “Airport”) A380 AVGEEK CONTEST

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST

1. BINDING AGREEMENT: In order to enter the Contest, you (“Contestant”) must agree to these Official Rules (“Rules”). The Rules consist of the terms and conditions on this page (“Contest Materials”). These Rules will form a legally binding agreement with respect to this Contest, please read them carefully. Contestants must agree to these Rules to be eligible for the Contest. Contestant agrees registration for this Contest and/or a submission of an entry in the Contest constitutes an agreement to these Rules.
2. ELIGIBILITY: To enter, Contestant must be a resident of the United States and at least eighteen (18) years of age. Contestants must submit contact information with entry in order to be eligible to try to win the giveaway. This Contest is void where prohibited. Employees (including without limitation, part-time, temporary, or volunteer employees) of the City and County of Denver (“City”), affiliated companies and immediate family are not eligible.
3. HOW TO ENTER/CONTEST PERIOD: Instructions on how to participate in the contest are as follows: Visit Facebook.com/denverinternationalairport, instagram.com/denairport or x.com/denairport. Fill out the DEN Lufthansa A380 Arrival Event AvGeek Contest form completely and submit the form to enter.

• Only Contestants meeting the eligibility standards may make entries to the contest. The Contest begins at 9:30 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) Monday,  March 31, 2025, and closes at 11:59 p.m. MDT Thursday, April 3, 2025.  Only one entry per Contestant will be accepted. City will notify the winners on Monday, April 7, 2025. City accepts no responsibility for submissions lost, delayed, damaged, not received, or howsoever caused. All submissions will become the property of the City.

4. CONSUMER DISCLOSURE: PRIZES: Prizes include: One airfield experience during the inaugural landing of the Lufthansa A380 at Denver International Airport on April 30, 2025. Ten total contestants will be selected. Total Value of All Prizes: No cash value. City will select ten (10) total winners through a random drawing upon conclusion of the Contest Period. City will notify the winners via email. The winners shall have seventy-two (72) hours to respond before an alternate winner is selected.

5. OTHER RULES AND INFORMATION: Odds of winning a prize are dependent on the number of entries received. An entry during the length of this contest makes a Contestant eligible for the prize drawing. The prize(s) may be awarded to the eligible winner(s) are not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize. Winner(s) must present state authorized identification prior to claiming the prize. Winner(s) must execute a waiver and release of liability as a condition of award of the prize.
6. SPONSOR: This contest is sponsored by the City and County of Denver, by and through its Department of Aviation, a Municipal Corporation with a principal place of business at 8500 Pena Boulevard Denver, CO 80249. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the promotion must be directed to Sponsor.
7. PRIVACY NOTICE: By participating in this Contest, Contestant agrees City can collect your personal information, and that if we cannot collect the required data, you may not be eligible to participate in the Contest. Any personal information collected during the course of the competition by City will be used for administering this Contest and for other purposes as outlined in these Rules. Contestants can request to have their information collected for the sweepstakes removed from any notification system by submitting such request in writing to DEN’s Global Marketing division. Contestants acknowledge City is subject to the provisions of the Colorado Open Records Act, Colorado Revised Statutes § 24-72-201 et seq., and the Contestant agrees it will fully cooperate with City in an event of a request or a lawsuit arising under such act for the disclosure of any materials or information which the Contestant asserts is confidential and exempt from disclosure. Any other provision of this Agreement notwithstanding, including all attachments or other documents incorporated into this Agreement by reference, all materials, records and information provided by the Contestant to City shall be considered confidential by City only to the extent provided in the Open Records Act, and the Contestant agrees that any disclosure of information by City consistent with the provisions of the Open Records Act shall result in no liability of City.
8. MEDIA ACTIVITY: Except where prohibited, by participating in this Contest, you agree and hereby grant City permission to use, copy, modify and make available your submissions to the public for any purpose, such as, but not limited to, press and media communications, without further compensation to you. You also agree to participate in any media or promotional activity regarding the Contest. If you are a winner, you agree that City may use your name and likeness to administer and promote the Contest or Airport Services and to conduct media interviews and promotional events.
9. GENERAL CONDITIONS: This Contest is governed by the laws of City, the State of Colorado, and the United States of America. By entering the Contest, Contestant agrees to comply with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations, including DEN Rules and Regulations. By participating in this Contest, you agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by City’s decisions, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Contest. Entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incorrect, garbled, or incompletely received, for any reason, including due to hardware, software, browser, or network failure, malfunction, or congestion, will not be eligible. City further reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify any promotion not capable of completion as planned. City reserves the right to disqualify any entry that fails to comply with these Official Rules, who attempts to enter the contest in any manner or through any means other than those described, or who attempts to disrupt the Contest or to circumvent these Official Rules or commits fraud or submits false information. City reserves the right to update the Official Rules at any time and will do their best to keep Contestants informed of changes but it is ultimately the responsibility of each Contestant to be aware of any updates. No substitutions for prizes except by City, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted. Any Local, State, or Federal taxes are the sole responsibility of the Contest winner. Acceptance of prize constitutes consent to use winners’ names and likenesses for editorial and publicity purposes, without further compensation. Participation in this Contest constitutes agreement by Contestant to release and hold harmless sponsors (including but not limited to City) and any of its officers, employees, agents, successors and assigns and affiliates against any and all claims, losses, or liabilities arising out of or relating to participation in this Contest or use, misuse, or redemption of a prize. Winners will be chosen at random from the entries received.
10. INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: BY ENTERING THE CONTEST, EACH CONTESTANT AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR, ADMINISTRATOR, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS FROM ANY LIABILITY, DAMAGES, LOSSES OR INJURY RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THAT CONTESTANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST AND THE ACCEPTANCE, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE THAT MAY BE WON. SPONSOR DOES NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE CONDITION, FITNESS OR MERCHANTABILITY OF THE PRIZE. SPONSOR, AND ALL ITS RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE TO ANY COMPUTER SYSTEM RESULTING FROM ACCESS TO OR THE DOWNLOAD OF INFORMATION OR MATERIALS CONNECTED WITH THE CONTEST.
11. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST.
12. ADDITIONAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

• Winners are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from DEN.
• The name contestants register with must match the name on their government issued identification.
• Winners are subject to all security measures and requirements required by the City, the FAA and TSA. Access to the airfield is subject to a security clearance. If a winner refuses to comply with any security rules, regulations or other measures the winner shall have deemed to forfeit participation in the contest and will be escorted off of the airfield.
• If winners cannot attend the event for any reason, they must notify DEN staff at [email protected] at least 3 days in advance so that the opportunity to participate can be offered to someone else.
• Winners must stay with the group at all times. Failure to do so will result in an escort off of DEN property.
• The event is non-transferable and available to selected participants only. No additional participants allowed.
• Attendees must wear closed-toe, non-skid shoes.

TSA Advisement

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) of the US Department of Homeland Security requires us to collect information from you for purposes of watch list screening, under the authority of 49 U.S. Code § 114 and the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004.

Providing this information is voluntary, however if it is not provided, you may be subject to additional screening or denied transportation or authorization to enter a sterile area. TSA may share information you provide with law enforcement or intelligence agencies or others under the published systems of records notice.
