DENVER – April 11, 2022 – This week, Denver International Airport (DEN) began roadway repairs on the east approach to the terminal. The work includes replacing all bridge expansion joints as well as roadway concrete repair.
To complete the work, various single lane closures can be expected from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily on the roadway bridges on the east side of the terminal only. The location of the closures will vary each day, but there will always be at least one lane open on each level.
The work may cause delays as motorists approach passenger pick-up (Level 4), ground transportation (Level 5) or passenger drop-off/check-in (Level 6), but all lanes of traffic will remain open in front of the terminal.
This work is part of DEN’s Vision 100 strategic plan, which includes Maintaining What We Have. The work is expected to be complete by early fall 2022.
Denver International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world. DEN is the primary economic engine for the state of Colorado, generating more than $36 billion for the region annually.
