Parking Rates Change Starting May 14
DEN will increase parking fees at certain parking facilities and reduce the price of Premium Reserve parking starting May 14, 2025. The changes come as parking management and shuttle costs at DEN have increased by an average of 44.5 % over the last three years.

DEN is temporarily relocating 24 airline check-in/bag drop counters as construction continues on the Great Hall Program. Between April 9 and June 30, the counters at the south end of Jeppesen Terminal’s east and west sides will be temporarily moving from Level 6 to Level 5. These airlines will remain on Level 5 in their temporary operation through mid-2027.

Face Masks Available at DEN
To help passengers and employees comply with the face mask/covering requirement at DEN, we recently installed two vending machines that sell face masks as well as sanitizing wipes. Both vending machines are located in the terminal in the following locations:

Runway 8-26 Now Open for Flights
In early April, Runway 8-26 closed due to low flight volumes and was utilized by airlines to park unused aircraft. We have now opened Runway 8-26 for incoming and outgoing flights.
There are currently 27 aircraft parked at remote de-icing pads and lesser-used taxi ways. We have seen as many as 76 planes parked at one time
North Security Checkpoint Reopened for Passenger Screening
TSA will continue to operate all three security checkpoints under normal operating hours:
Passenger Traffic Numbers
Passenger and employee traffic through TSA checkpoints experienced a slight uptick last week at DEN and was down 86.3 percent last week, compared to the same week in 2019. The week before, traffic through DEN checkpoints was down about 89 percent.
