New Peña Boulevard On-Ramp Eases Access to Terminal from DEN’s Cell Phone Lot

Home

DENVER – July 18, 2024 – Tomorrow, Denver International Airport (DEN) will open a new on-ramp to inbound (heading toward Jeppesen Terminal) Peña Boulevard from Gun Club Road. The ramp opening marks the completion of the Gun Club Road widening project. An earlier phase of the widening project was completed in November of 2023.

The new on-ramp allows drivers a more convenient and time-saving option to access inbound Pena Boulevard as they journey from the Final Approach cell phone lot to the terminal, to pick up arriving passengers. Drivers using the cell phone lot can now head east on 77th Avenue (formerly a one-way road to Final Approach) and take a right on southbound Gun Club Road to access the new on-ramp.
