Parking Rates Change Starting May 14
DEN will increase parking fees at certain parking facilities and reduce the price of Premium Reserve parking starting May 14, 2025. The changes come as parking management and shuttle costs at DEN have increased by an average of 44.5 % over the last three years.

DEN is temporarily relocating 24 airline check-in/bag drop counters as construction continues on the Great Hall Program. Between April 9 and June 30, the counters at the south end of Jeppesen Terminal’s east and west sides will be temporarily moving from Level 6 to Level 5. These airlines will remain on Level 5 in their temporary operation through mid-2027.

DENVER — Nov. 5, 2014 — Denver International Airport had its busiest September on record, as the airport continues to see a record-setting pace of passenger traffic in 2014.
September was the tenth consecutive month in which passenger traffic grew year-over-year at DIA. Overall passenger traffic at DIA increased in September by 3.3 percent, with 4,489,372 passengers using the airport compared to 4,346,502 passengers in September 2013.
Through the end of September, DIA has seen 40,429,144 passengers so far this year, an increase of 2.3 percent over the 39,529,845 passengers during the same timeframe last year.
International passenger traffic grew nearly five percent compared to September 2013. The boost came from Icelandair extending its seasonal daily Denver-to-Reykjavik service through Sept. 10, as well as from Volaris operating extended frequencies to Mexico City and new routes to Chihuahua and Guadalajara.
“Passenger traffic for 2014 continues to outperform our projections, bolstered in part by strong growth in international passenger traffic,” said Denver International Airport CEO Kim Day. “Southwest Airlines had its best September on record and United Airlines saw strong growth in its connecting traffic.”
Additionally, mail, freight and express cargo operations saw a 12.8-percent increase in September compared to the same month last year. To date, 377,591,650 pounds of cargo have been handled at DIA in 2014, up 2.4 percent from 368,823,994 pounds of cargo handled during the same timeframe in 2013.
