Parking Rates Change Starting May 14
DEN will increase parking fees at certain parking facilities and reduce the price of Premium Reserve parking starting May 14, 2025. The changes come as parking management and shuttle costs at DEN have increased by an average of 44.5 % over the last three years.

DEN is temporarily relocating 24 airline check-in/bag drop counters as construction continues on the Great Hall Program. Between April 9 and June 30, the counters at the south end of Jeppesen Terminal’s east and west sides will be temporarily moving from Level 6 to Level 5. These airlines will remain on Level 5 in their temporary operation through mid-2027.

DENVER — Aug. 5, 2015 — Nearly 25.8 million passengers traveled through Denver International Airport (DIA) in the first six months of 2015 – just slightly behind the record-setting pace of passenger traffic in 2014.
A total of 25,771,425 passengers traveled through DIA through the end of June, down just 0.6 percent from the 25,936,343 passengers during the same time last year. June passenger traffic also was down 0.6 percent, with 4,802,776 passengers, compared with 4,830,401 passengers in June 2014.
Denver’s local origin and destination traffic – passengers who start or end their flight in Denver – grew nearly 8 percent in the first half of this year. Denver’s annual domestic origin and destination traffic ranked third among all U.S. airports last year, and continues to grow thanks to new service additions at DIA. In January, Spirit Airlines began service between Denver and San Diego, and in April the carrier added service to Los Angeles. In June, Delta added five-times-daily service to Seattle, while Southwest added once-per-week service to Albany, New York. Also in June, Frontier added daily service between Denver and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.
“Denver International Airport had a strong first half of 2015, despite some dramatic airline capacity cuts,” said airport CEO Kim Day. “We are on a pace parallel to last year, which we expect to continue thanks to a variety of new destinations and increased seat capacity on some of our most popular international flights.”
Additionally, mail, freight and express cargo operations handled 44,089,853 pounds of cargo in June, an increase of 7.9 percent over the same time last year. Through the end of June, total cargo operations at DIA are up 9.2 percent over last year.
