Denver Central Market Opens at Denver International Airport

Home

DENVER – Nov. 13, 2018 – Denver Central Market, a local favorite, is now open on the A Concourse at Denver International Airport (DEN). Like its original location in Denver’s RiNo District, the popular food hall concept offers DEN passengers a true Colorado culinary experience.

“Colorado has a thriving and diverse food scene and we are extremely excited to bring a taste of this popular Denver food hall to the airport,” said DEN CEO Kim Day. “Denver Central Market provides passengers with a variety of ways to experience local cuisine and offerings by local, award-winning chefs without leaving the airport.”

Denver Central Market is a gourmet market and food hall housing a variety of local restaurants. Several vendors from the Larimer Street marketplace can be found at DEN, including Vero Italian offering hand crafted pizzas, artisanal meats, cheeses and sandwiches by Culture Meat & Cheese and rotisserie chicken and fresh salads from SK Provisions. The airport location also includes offerings from Sushi Rama.

“We are so excited to be at DEN and offer a window into what our market is about in RiNo,” said Ken Wolf, Denver Central Market developer and owner.

DEN passengers are able to enjoy the local food offerings in a newly renovated space near gate A46, between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily. Denver Central Market provides grab and go meals and snacks, common dining spaces equipped with charging stations, coffee, espresso drinks, pastries and a full bar.

Denver Central Market is operated by Delaware North, a global hospitality company and locally owned Optimal Concessions and Trugoy DEN, LLC., certified Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) – a federal program that helps small, minority and women-owned firms compete for airport business opportunities.

“Denver is a great culinary town, and the Central Market has earned a reputation as a destination for food lovers who appreciate diverse menus and the energy of a food hall environment,” said Kevin Kelly, president of Delaware North’s travel business. “We’re excited to partner with some of the city’s most talented chefs and bring an elevated dining experience to travelers at the airport.”

Denver Central Market is one of many new and elevated concessions opening at DEN meant to provide local options and elevate the passenger experience while dining and shopping in the airport. Visit FlyDenver.com for more information on dining options at DEN.
