Most Airline Counters Move to Temporary Locations

DEN is temporarily relocating 24 airline check-in/bag drop counters as construction continues on the Great Hall Program. Accessibility Statement for Denver Airport

We want everyone who visits the Denver Airport website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding, going above and beyond the recommendations stated in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act 1998.

What did we do

To help us make the Denver Airport website a positive place for everyone, we’ve been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, more compatible with assistive technology, and more user friendly for everyone. The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level A & AA as the target for the Denver Airport website.

How did we do it

The accessibility experts at AccessiBe conducted a manual audit for website accessibility in the first quarter of 2025. This audit utilized screen readers and manual reviews to assess all website components for ADA compliance, followed by remediation of any found issues. This manual audit builds on previous accessibility work completed during the initial website development and aims to make continuous improvements to accessibility. The manual audit will result in an updated VPAT and accessibility statement to document all findings and remediations.

There are some areas of our website, provided by 3rd party vendors, that we have learned may not be accessible or usable by everyone equally. We understand that all areas must comply with the WCAG 2.1 Level A & AA guidelines and we will update those areas as soon as possible.

  • Sprinklr Live Chat
  • Gravity Form (WordPress plugin)
