Founded in 1979, Swallow Hill Music has evolved from a small, grassroots folk organization into one of the nation’s largest acoustic music schools and concert organizations. Swallow Hill Music hosts exceptional musical experiences throughout the community, focusing on the presentation of world-class artists who enrich the local arts scene and range from noteworthy local performers to up-and-coming and seasoned national and international acts. With over 165,000 musical connections made each year, Swallow Hill music brings new energy to the Denver metro area with programming that builds a community of music listeners and learners that are connecting to music is fresh and innovative ways.
Denver International Airport’s (DEN) newest exhibit, Swallow Hill Music, gives insight into a Colorado acoustic music school and concert organization – known as one of the nation’s largest.
The Swallow Hill Music exhibit commemorates the organization’s 40th anniversary and highlights their programming.
Swallow Hill Music concerts, music school and community outreach efforts are only a few of the programs highlighted in the exhibit. Instruments, as well as contemporary and historic images are also on display.
This exhibit celebrates and applauds an extraordinary Colorado nonprofit organization that continues to connect the community with music, one note at a time.
