Inside the Orchestra, formerly known as the Junior Symphony Guild (JSG), is dedicated to supporting and providing music education in Colorado. The Guild was established in 1958 by a group of “junior” (40 and under) aged women whose original mission was to support classical and symphonic music programs in the Denver metropolitan community. Currently, Inside the Orchestra supports multiple counties in Colorado with seven active programs, offers bilingual educational options and works with professional musicians. For more information, visit https://insidetheorchestra.org/ or call (303) 355-7855.
Denver International Airport (DEN) partnered with Inside the Orchestra for the art exhibit that featured music education in Colorado and a variety of musical instruments. The exhibit displays included a child and adult cellos, French horn, trombone, violin, clarinet, handmade instruments and conductor’s tools. The educational and musically themed exhibit was inspirational and celebrated a melodically unique Colorado non-profit organization.
Established in 1958, Inside the Orchestra brings interactive, immersive orchestra programs to Colorado children. Educational programs, such as Tiny Tots, Inside the Orchestra for Schools, and sensory-friendly programming, serve an average of more than 20,000 people each year.
