Art at Den
Jeppesen Terminal, Ansbacher Hall, Level 6 North, before A Bridge Security
DEN hosts multiple exhibit locations for rotating exhibitions for travelers to encounter a true Colorado experience when they pass through the airport. DEN’s exhibitions are always Colorado themed by featuring artists and organizations that reside within the state. Exhibition topics are developed in collaboration with museums, cultural institutions, non-profit and arts organizations to present the highest quality creative and educational experiences for travelers.
Denver International Airport (DEN) is officially 25 years old! Passengers can take a walk down memory lane and peruse through, you guessed it, 25 display cases that are filled with DEN and pop-culture memorabilia.
The exhibit features mementos from the past 25 years, including fossils found during the construction of DEN, a 3D airport diagram and even touchable-DEN tent material. Passersbys can also view historic videos that are playing alongside the cases and read about the visionaries who imagined the airport.
Large-scale timeline and accomplishment boards along Ansbacher Hall tell a story of DEN’s record-breaking growth and evolution to become the number-one economic powerhouse for the region. The display cases are broken out in five-year spans and will take passengers on a journey from opening day, Feb. 28, 1995, to present day.
The 25th anniversary is located in Ansbacher Hall, in the Jeppesen Terminal on Level 6 North before A-Bridge Security.
